Adobe Illustrator was created in 1987 and I started using it in Sept. of 1991 and started teaching it at Fanshawe in Feb. 1992. As a freehand illustrator, I loved how I could create scalable vector art. Scanning stuff and cleaning them up in Illustrator is something that I really had fun playing with.
I can't believe the time that has passed and I am still using my Adobe software programs. The highlight for me was visiting Adobe headquarters in San Jose in 1994. I drove down the El Camino Real and say so many big software giants of the day and some that are still around today.
One thing that learning this software has taught me is that design tools change all the time and it continues today. I just came across a drag and drop way of creating my own apps. Soon it will be virtual worlds and voice activated everything including major biometrics included in all aspects of our life.
I look forward to the next 30 years.
This blog is to showcase my ongoing work.
