Early Web design

In the early 1990s, my husband worked for Canada Trust and was the inventor of EasyWeb. I created the original html code for the pages that were shown to the executives. With horrible bandwidth, my husband was always after me to make sure my graphics were as small as possible: that in itself is another post. EasyWeb was the second online banking site in the world (second by a few weeks by Wells Fargo). 
When the site went live, I was pleasantly surprised that my code was literally copied and pasted to the finished site. If anyone went to view the source code, they would see in the meta tag section the text "designed by SylverDesign & Instruction"!
I was right in the middle of training at night school and teaching corporately. For at least a year after the EasyWeb launch, I would have clients check out the source code for EasyWeb and see the text relating to my company. This was a huge kudo for me and helped me establish new clients.
