![]() It's funny, as I get back into the saddle at working outside the home and educating myself as to the work environment out there. As a graphic designer, I have noticed a term called UX designer and wanted to find out more about it. I found a great website called vitamintalent.com that explained exactly what a UX designer is. According to this website a UX designer has the following traits: • Comps • High-fidelity wireframes • Prototypes • Pattern libraries (for items like navigation elements, links, calendars, etc.) • Font selection. I have been creating interactive designs since I took Industrial Design (which included how people interact with technology) and after graduation, creating screen designs for kiosks for 3 years for a software company in London. Add to that brochure designs, logo design, website design and story boarding, and yes, I have been doing this for a long time. For the last 13 years, I may not have worked outside the home but I haven't stopped designing and creating various projects where user interaction was top priority. I have a lot of experience behind me and am hoping there is an opportunity to utilize all that I have learned so far. I am a life long learner and am always interested in new technology and shifting paradigms.
