To start, I deciced to work in acrylic, something that I had used about 13 years earlier. I started with an acrylic painting of a still life object; a small wooden rocking horse that my son had. I liked the image because of the facets of the shape (rough cut wood). I also started to enjoy the colour matching that was involved in representing the original piece.

This piece now hangs proudly in my home.
