With this painting I used oil on stretched canvas and applied the paint on thickly with a palette knive and creating some of the details in the middle flowers with a toothpick. I changed the bottom colour from orange to straight yellow and really loved it.

This image came from a book on Van Gogh that my husband brought back for me from one of his trips to Holland.
